Hi! I’m Kate. I am currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education program at Texas Lutheran University. While I may be enrolled at a Texas University, I live with my family in Northern Michigan. Between the two of us, my husband and I have four children and one grandchild. 

As you can see from the family picture, I enjoy unique family photos. This is one of my favorites. Even though none of us are looking at the camera, you can still get a glimpse of our personalities. I’m the one second from the right with the purple hair and red shoes. 

My research interests are Title IX and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. 

I am also a fan of playing board games, watching Star Trek, and reading books.
